John Dahlbäck - Live at Pickadoll on Samurai FM 01-04-2008

John Dahlbäck was born in 1985 in a small village not too far away from Stockholm, the Swedish capital. Since everyone in his family was in some way involved with music, it was no surprise when John started making his own. By playing around with his fathers Atari computer, John learned the basics and after several changes in setup he finally found his sound.

There’s nothing stopping this youngster, with more releases than any other on some of the biggest labels. Who knows what will happen in the future but one thing is for sure, John Dahlbäck will be there.

James Zabiela - DJ Set

James Zabiela - DJ Set at DJ Times Shortlist 16-04-2008

Review:

Still only 24, still pushing the envelope and still learning to cope with a real-life fanbase and life on the other side of the record counter, its unlikely that James Zabiela will be taking a breather anytime soon. There are further late niteries like Tribal Sessions and The End to entertain and regular slots in Romania and Budapest to attend to. (I get to play whatever I want,” he smiles). On a recent trip to Australia he played a five hour set in front of 3,000 screaming punters at The Art House in Sydney. No wonder Sasha refers to James as the guv’nor, This is just the beginning.
